ROH Women's World Television Title Tournament Quarter Final Match - Taya Valkyrie (w/Johnny TV) vs. Queen Aminata

They shake hands. Queen side headlock takeovers her then Taya side headlock takeovers her. Queen headscissors her then Taya side headlocks her. Queen shakes her butt in Taya's face. Queen hits forearms and chops. Taya chops her then takes a double shot to the gut.

Queen hip attacks her in the corner then Taya slides out to avoid another one. Taya knocks Queen off the apron. Johnny catches her and Johnny tells Queen not to touch her. Taya dropkicks Queen through the ropes then stomps her.

Queen is sent into the rails then misses a charge, going into the rails. Taya suplexes her on the floor. Taya does an STF variation on her. Queen sunset flips her for 2 then Taya spears her for 2. Queen germans Taya and they trade forearms. Queen suplexes and lariats her then snapmares her. Queen PK's her then running knees her in the corner. Queen hip attacks her in the corner.

Taya hits shots and knocks her over with a lariat. Taya blue thunders her for 2. Taya double underhook sitout bombs her. Queen boots and forearms her then rolls her up for 2. Queen headbutts her and gets the win.

The finish could have been a little better but it wasn't a bad effort at all by the girls. Queen looked good here as usual and we got a lot of back and forth action here without too many sloppy moments. 

Mike Sydal vs. Lee Johnson

Mike does a split on a yoga mat then does a yoga pose. They lock up and Lee waistlocks him. Mike trips him then Lee hammerlocks him. Mike snapmares him.Lee rolls him up and legsweeps him. Lee gets a 2 count and they stand off.

Lee hits a dropkick. Mike pulls Lee's neck down over the top. Mike chinlocks him then hits a michinoku driver for 2. Mike chinlocks him. Lee hits lariats on Mike. Mike drops and splits out of one then takes a neckbreaker. Lee kips up then Lee blue thunders him for 2. 

Mike does a split and a jawkbreaker then Mike high kicks him. Mike cartwheels off the top then Lee hits a lifting reverse ddt for the win.

It was a short match. Not particular great or memorable but an okay filler match. Mike's always been in a weird situation as he's Matt's brother but is never really put with him and never really put in situations where he can really show off.

Komander vs Blake Christian

Blake has grown his hair out some, maybe dyed it and has new tights. He looks better.

Blake armdrags him off the handshake then headlock takeovers him. They trade armdrags, Kom blocks one and goes for a pin attempt. Blake rolls him then takes a dropkick. Kom corner lariats Blake. Blake gets kicked as he tries to get in the ring after being on the apron. Kom goes for a dive and ends up rolling him into a double knee drop. Kom asai moonsaults him for 2.

Kom spears the post when Blake moves then Blake flying knees him off the apron. Blake low dropkicks him. Kom runs the ropes and is dropkicked. Blake then tope con hilos him outside. Kom's head is banged off the steps. Blake suplexes him off the steps.

Blake top rope elbow drops Kom's back for 2. Blake sideslams him for 2. Kom is on the buckles and kicks Blake from it. Kom then headscissors him off the apron to the floor. Kom 450's but Blake gets his knees up. Blake hits a baseball punch then is dropkicked off a handspring. Blake then superkicks him and both are down.

Kom rolls Blake into a tequila sunrise and Blake ropebreaks. Blake's neck is catapulted into the bottom rope then Kom rope walks into a moonsault outside on him. Kom rope walk SSP's him and wins it.

They did too much here with people getting suplexed off the steps and hurricanrana'd to the floor. It started out okay but it just turned further and further into indy nonsense.

Lexy Nair brings out Athena and Billie Starkz for an emergency meeting. Athena said she's been hearing that their family is drifting apart and it's over. Athena says if Lexy doesn't stop chasing Dalton Castle and others, she will hits her. She said Lexy belongs next to her and Billie.

She said she was taken to her limit last week in the tables match but sent her opponent through a table. Billie said she won her tournament match against Robyn Renegade. Athena said Robyn isn't what she considered competition. Billie said she wrestled Diamante in the 2nd round. Athena asks if she can win this without her. Billie said she can win the tournament without her. Athena asks Lexy and the fans if Billie can win the tournament. Athena says she better win it or else. She said this is their year and said this is her year.

Athena says this is her show with her rules. She said if you don't like that, you can step up or step out.

Taiji Ishimori vs Jacoby Watts

Watts is the former Dean Alexander. TI rakes the eyes and springboard la silla's him. TI neckbreakers him for 2. TI's top rope crossbody is caught and he is flatlinered. Watts pounds on him in the corner and corner splashes him. Watts flips him with a lariat.

TI handspring back corkscrew kicks him. TI rakes the eyes then does la mistica into a border city stretch. TI gets the win.

It was a short squash here.

Queen Aminata does a promo. She said she would beat Taya and did. She says she's sore. She said the tournament started with 16 women, but will end with one - Queen Aminata.

Custody Of The Boys Match - Dalton Castle vs Johnny TV

The Iron Savages give Dalton some of their juice to drink during his entrance.

Dalton does a single leg takedown and Johnny goes out to recoup. Johnny eye pokes him and hits him in the neck, then Dalton goes out to recoup. Dalton is pulled over the top to the floor then Johnny knees him. Johnny grabs The Boys then Taya takes a selfie with them.

Johnny takes a spinning suplex/slam then Dalton jumping knees him. Johnny's head is banged off the buckles then Dalton ddt's him. Dalton lariats him and Johnny hides behind Taya outside. Dalton follows then is sent into the rails. 

Johnny slides over Taya's back to kick Dalton. Dalton is sent into the steps then dropped on the rail. Johnny neckbreakers him then cravates him. Dalton back elbows and lariats him. Dalton spinning suplexes him several times then delay german suplexes him. Johnny flipping neckbrekers him for 2.

Dalton backdrops flips him, getting him crotched on the top. Dalton backdrops Johnny for 2. Johnny takes a horrible looking blackout on his head, in one of the nastiest bumps ever. They fight on the apron and Taya grabs Dalton's leg. Johnny is pushed off the buckles onto The Boys then Taya knocks Dalton off the buckles. Johnny hits starship pain and wins it.

It was really slow at times and I don't know why. Dalton's blackout driver on Johnny was one of the nastiest moves I've ever seen. That should have ended the match and everything else after it was overkill.

Johnny and Taya take The Boys after, dragging them up the ramp as Dalton watches in horror.

Overall thoughts: Queen and Taya had a decent match. Sydal/Johnson was average. Komander/Blake wasn't good. I thought they did too much in the main with Johnny taking one of the nastiest moves ever and it not being the finish, but The Boys being on the line in it was interesting. I thought it was average overall with a mix of good, bad and indifferent.
